What is the Beach Volleyball Coaches School?
In response to current market needs and after analyzing the existing gaps in the beach volleyball industry, we have created the first program in Poland aimed at enhancing the competencies of beach volleyball coaches.
In April 2024, together with the most outstanding coaches in Poland, we will share our experience in training male and female volleyball players at all skill levels. We will hand over all this knowledge directly to you.

In Poland, a beach volleyball coach is often also a manager, psychologist, and marketing specialist, as well as a motor skills trainer, etc. – Why? Because the beach volleyball market is still developing, and not everyone can afford comprehensive support in all aspects, especially at the youth club level, or the employment of specialists.
Athletes need support in every area. At the Proskos training, we will not only show you how to coach but also address many other beach volleyball-related topics.

As a beach volleyball coach, you often take on the role of a tournament organizer as well. We want to share with you our valuable knowledge and experience gained from organizing various competitions – from amateur leagues to international World Tour events. During our training, you'll receive practical advice and tips to help you organize exceptional sports events that attract both players and spectators.

The school is for you if you are a representative of a club planning to open a beach section or wanting to improve the competence of coaches. Beach volleyball competition is for the club's additional opportunity for success and publicity in the community.
Note that here it takes two to tango -. you do not need all fourteen, but only two girls/two boys, who wish to follow in the footsteps of Polish Olympians.

The school is for you if you intend to get involved organizationally because there will be no shortage of topics such as organization of the largest tournaments in Poland.
For parents
Are you an active parent supporting your child?
The school is for you if you are committed to development of your young player. If you want to support him with knowledge, if you want to know what he is talking about when they report you winning a tournament, if you want to know what you should / should require from your local coach on beach topics - come to the training!
What Will You Gain from the Beach Volleyball Coaches' School?
Each training consists of three complementary modules, allowing us to provide you with both theoretical knowledge and its practical application. The insights gained in training sessions will be immediately tested on the sand, ensuring a real-world approach to coaching. Both the first and second day of training include lectures from expert coaches as well as practical on-court exercises. As a highlight of the program, you will have the opportunity to participate in one of Proskos’ beach volleyball camps, where you will get a first-hand look at the coaching process in action. During the camp, you will learn how we support our athletes, receive additional mentoring hours from our trainers, and even conduct your very first group training! A detailed program and agenda will be shared before the course, but here’s a sneak peek of what you can expect.

One of the key elements of the program is a series of lectures and presentations by specialists in beach volleyball, delivered during the inaugural event. These sessions provide not only valuable theoretical knowledge but also practical tips and strategies that you can apply immediately in your coaching career. Experts from various fields will present the latest trends, training methods, and psychological techniques, helping you understand the modern coaching landscape and prepare for the challenges ahead.
Workshops and On-Court Sessions with Practical Drills
The Beach Volleyball Coaches' School (STP) is not just about theoretical foundations – it also includes hands-on workshops and on-court training, focusing on specific exercises. These sessions provide an invaluable opportunity to test the drills that top beach volleyball coaches use for their athletes. You will learn how to effectively plan and conduct training sessions, tailoring them to the needs and skill levels of your players. Additionally, you’ll gain insight into player motivation, group dynamics, and how to respond to different situations that may arise during training.

Webinars – Online Sessions on Key Topics
After the intensive inaugural weekend, we provide ongoing learning through a series of online webinars. In the following months, you will meet with specialists who will focus on essential topics related to beach volleyball and the sports industry as a whole. These online sessions are a perfect complement to practical training and lectures, offering a broader perspective on different aspects of the sport while ensuring continuous learning and growth.
Final Camp – STP Camp
The highlight of our training program is an internship at the Proskos camp, which serves as the official conclusion of the entire program. This is a unique opportunity to apply your newly acquired skills in practice and experience the daily life of a beach volleyball coach behind the scenes. The internship is an excellent way to gain hands-on coaching experience and prepare for leading training sessions and camps independently. This is also the moment where you officially complete the STP program, celebrating the results of your hard work and learning.

I come to Sand and Travel, regularly, and take advantage of the yoga and motorcycle classes that are held there, right next to the beach volleyball training. There is also an open gym there. I highly recommend it! After the workout, you can take an outdoor shower and have a drink from the bar. Lots of loungers, hammocks, you can poczilowac.

Mega mega recommend. The people make up a super place, coming there you will learn everything from scratch, the coaches adjust the training depending on your level and commitment, they can squeeze out skills you didn't even know you could have. Camps, trainings, workouts, every year gather more and more people of a wide age range, super committed and getting into beach volleyball also thanks to the already existing team playing and training for several years. I personally train at the Sand and Travel facility, come and check it out and you won't regret it. In truth, there you can fulfill your little dream of going to a volleyball camp or just playing with people with a super keen mind. By training with Proskos you will contribute to the promotion of beach volleyball in Poland, you can feel the impact on your own skin and in the way the people who create this place work all year round for this community. I highly recommend this organization to all those who want to develop their passions in the area of volleyball. A great place is the Proskos courts in Poznan (Piach i Podróże) - super atmosphere, you can both play volleyball and have a beer with friends, and Marcin and Julia make sure that you feel like friends there. Great organization that gives you the opportunity to develop your beach volleyball skills no matter what level you are at - in my case it was starting from A1 which was no problem at all. The atmosphere at the trainings is always friendly, and the coaches support and mobilize you to continue working! Camps are a super opportunity to meet cool people and develop in the field of beachcombing (especially cool Zbąszyń and Portugal). I highly recommend all events and initiatives organized by Proskos, because they are always at a high level and you can develop your skills, and both coaches and other participants are open and positive people.

If for a beach volleyball camp it's only with Proskos! 😀 😀 Portimao in Portugal is a place that every beach volleyball fan should visit, and certainly with Proskos. This camp is a dozen days of training, tournaments, non-sports attractions, integration. Professional staff, perfect organization and great participants. If there is chemistry then there is only one thing missing. Which one? "Timing" And in this case, one thing combines with the other: chemistry + timing = LOVE 🙂

Success Stories – From STP to the Proskos Family!
During last year's edition of the Beach Volleyball Coaches' School, we had the pleasure of working with enthusiastic beach volleyball lovers who not only participated in our training but also became part of our team—joining the Proskos family. Anyone taking part in this year's STP edition has the same opportunity. If you’re ready to take this journey, your place in our team could be next! Here are a few inspiring examples of people who turned their passion into a career.
Weronika came to the first edition of the School of Beachball Coaches. We also knew her because of her very good performances at, among others, Polish Championship Finals, AMP and local tournaments in Wielkopolska.
Veronika came to our attention with an excellent presentation at the end of STP. We knew that during the season she leads the youth teams of Energetyka Poznan. Due to a large number of projects, we needed an additional coach for Sand and Travel. Veronika did an excellent job and received good feedback from the class participants.
The cooperation turned out to be mutual, as after the relationship was established, Veronika and her partner Justyna invited Marcin to join their beach duo as a coach.
We hope to see Veronica in a wider range of hours at our trainings and camps this season as well.
Amadeus came to the first edition of the School of Beachcombing Coaches. From the very beginning we saw his commitment, inquisitiveness and proactive attitude. He was the only one of the STP participants who decided to come to our camp for an internship. We met at the May Day camp in Zbąszyń. Amadeus assisted individual coaches in all activities. He quickly caught on with the participants, which translated into questions from them about whether he would also be present at the next camp. We didn't wait long and offered Amadeus a job at the next camp - already in the role of a full-time coach. We are now happy, getting along with options for a broader cooperation for this season!
Bartek came to the first edition of the Beach Volleyball Coaches School. We didn't know at first that he was so connected with beach volleyball, as it turned out later. Marcin had the opportunity to teach some classes for his son Bartek a year earlier. During the Beach Volleyball Coaches School, Bartek proposed to Marcin that they jointly lead a team of beach youngsters aspiring to the Polish Championship Finals.
In May, we started working together in this regard, and Bartek turned out to be a specialist not only in volleyball, but also in organizing. We quickly decided to expand the team to include a physiotherapist and a motor preparation coach (from here we salute our partners from Przystań Med). Our team in terms of facilities and logistics was certainly in the national top. In the end, the pair of youngsters we jointly led took 5th place in Poland!
In 2024, together with the main originator - Bartek, we are creating Poznań Beach Volley Group. Something that has never been done before. The 5 invited duos will receive training, marketing and financial support
Matthew came to our first edition of the Beach Volleyball Coaches School. We knew he was a very good player, and he also works for one of the leading volleyball clubs in Poland. He showed great willingness to learn and gather knowledge from our speakers.
After STP, we jointly agreed that he would come to his first camp as a coach in August 2023. Since then, Matthew began his coaching adventure under the wings of our academy.
